Customer Review for S SIMDER ARC-200 Stick Welder

While traveling with my fifth wheel camper, I broke a spring hanger off the frame. I made it to a campground and parked. I have been a professional welder for 26 years and just needed a welding machine so I could re-weld the spring hanger to the frame. I am far from home and my own welding machines. After some research, I decided to buy myself a cheap small machine to carry with me in case this happened again.
I was very skeptical of this machine because of its size and cheap price.
I ordered on amazon and it arrived 2 days later. I cleaned and repositioned the spring hanger and set up the machine for welding.
I had some 3/32 7018 rods. That machine handled them with ease. I did have to run about 30 amps hotter than other welding machines (about 130 amp) but whatever, it did the job. I was impressed with the weld quality.
I probably wouldn’t want to weld continuously all day with it, for fear of burning it up, but then again maybe it could.
If you are wanting a cheap light weight welder with 110volt plug in, this is the one.
